No. Fine Foams has no connection to The Fleece Company or to any other muslin blanket seller you may have seen advertised on Facebook. We get asked this most weeks, usually by someone who ordered a "king" muslin blanket elsewhere, waited three weeks for it to arrive from overseas, and found it barely covered a queen bed. If that was you, we're sorry, and here is how to tell us apart.
Who we are
Fine Foams is an Australian family-owned business based in Canberra, founded by Dhiren, who grew up with muslin in Nepal and started the brand after wrapping his newborn daughter in it. We only make muslin bedding, we've served 16,000+ customers, and real people answer hello@finefoams.com.au.
Where your order ships from
Every order is packed and shipped from our own warehouse in Sydney with Australia Post tracking. Orders usually leave within 1 to 2 business days, and you get the tracking link by email the moment yours is on its way. Standard shipping within Australia is free; metro addresses typically see it in 2 to 4 business days, regional in 3 to 8. It arrives in days, not weeks.
Our bedding is woven in China by a specialist muslin weaver and every product is tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. We're upfront about that. The difference is who stands behind it, where it ships from, how big it is, and what happens if you don't love it.
How big our blanket is
Our blankets are oversized on purpose, so two people can share without anyone pulling:
- Single/Double: 243 × 180 cm
- Queen: 279 × 243 cm
- King/Super King: 279 × 279 cm
A King/Super King from us drapes generously over a king or super king bed. The sizes on our product page are the sizes you receive.
How it's made
The Soothing Muslin Blanket is eight layers of 100% natural muslin cotton, with no synthetics and no coatings. The Extra Warm version is twelve layers. Our pillowcases and fitted sheets are two layers. Every blanket comes with a free colour-matched Muslin Pillowcase 2-Pack.
If it isn't right
Every purchase is covered by the 100-Night Trial. Sleep under it for up to 100 nights from delivery and, if it isn't right for any reason, we email you a prepaid Australia Post return label and refund you in full, or swap the colour or size for free. No arguing, no going quiet.
