A weave that's mostly air
Hold muslin up to a window and you'll see light through it. That's not thinness. It's the point. The plain, open weave leaves thousands of tiny gaps between threads, and when you layer it, each layer traps a band of still air.
Still air is what actually keeps you warm. It's how doonas work too. The difference is that muslin's gaps keep the air moving slowly through, so heat that builds up can leave. A doona holds everything in; muslin holds just enough.

From cotton to your bed, without shortcuts
The whole process is deliberately simple. No fill, no lining, no finishing spray to fake a soft handle. What arrives at your door is cotton, weave and stitching. That's the entire list.
We start with 100% natural cotton, spun into a fine, even yarn, the only raw material in every product we make.
The yarn is woven in a loose plain weave, leaving the thousands of tiny gaps that make muslin breathe, then coloured with non-toxic dyes. Density is the enemy here.
Sheets of muslin are stacked, two layers for sheets and cases, eight or twelve for blankets, then stitched so each layer holds its own band of air.
Every piece is pre-washed so it arrives soft, then independently tested to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. No finishing sprays, no shortcuts to a soft handle.
