Comfort runs deeper than fabric. It runs in our story.
Fine Foams didn't begin in a factory. It began in a family home, with a fabric one generation trusted enough to wrap around the next.
A fabric woven into daily life
Our founder, Dhiren, grew up in Nepal, where muslin was never a trend. It was simply there, in the dhaka scarves worn every day and in the soft cloth mothers reached for by instinct.
Gentle on the skin, breathable in the heat, warm enough for mountain evenings. It was a fabric trusted by mothers for generations, especially for swaddling newborns.
Then he became a dad
When his daughter was born, Dhiren found himself reaching for the same fabric his mother once used, to wrap her, comfort her, and keep her snug through every season.
What amazed him was the temperature. Never too hot, never too cold. The muslin seemed to hold her at exactly the right warmth, night after night. If it could do that for a newborn, why was nobody making it for the rest of us?
So he built the blanket he couldn't buy
He searched high and low for a proper adult muslin blanket. Everything he found made the same compromises: too thin to mean anything, or too small to share.
So he designed his own: the Soothing Muslin Blanket. Eight layers of natural muslin cotton instead of four. Oversized, 279cm at the widest, so two people can actually share it. Light enough for January, warm enough for July.
“Comfort isn't just a feeling. It's a memory passed down. We're here to help you create yours.”
Three things we won't compromise
We only make muslin bedding: no line extensions, no seasonal fabric of the month. Everything we learn goes back into the same weave. See why muslin.
Oversized blankets because two people share them. 40cm sheet pockets because real mattresses are deep. A 100-Night Trial because a great night's sleep takes more than one week to judge.
We tell you exactly what you're buying: 100% natural muslin cotton, independently tested to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, shipped from Sydney. Even the imperfections: muslin crinkles, and we say so before you buy.
